Laughter prevails because of the whole loads of entertaining staffs like Akshay Kumar, Javed Jaffrey, Manoj Pahwa and Om Puri. Singh Is Kinng starts well and fares really well.

It tells the story of Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) who is the King of the Australian underworld and carries illegal trade in Australia with his associates (Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande). It speaks about the journey of  Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) from a small village in Punjab to Australia and unknowingly dropping in Egypt.

Happy Singh is a sidha-sadha guy of a village. He always come forward to do noble deeds for his villageres but unfortunately, his every move turns to be ulta (opposite). The villagers in order to get rid of him sends him to bring back Lucky fom Australia. Happy is accompanied by his dearest buddy Rangeela (Om Puri), who hates him for dragging him into it. Then starts the roller coaster journey of Happy and Rangeela. Unknowingly, they landed up in Egypt where they happen to meet Sonia (Katrina Kaif). Happy falls for Sonia but she is already engaged to Ranbir Shorey.

On reaching Australia, Happy falls in a serious plot where he is misunderstood as king and has been accridated with the status of king. There they happen to meet an elderly lady (Kiron Kher). She has helped them in many ways. After a series of comical misadventures, they came to know that Sonia is her daughter. Sonia too landed in Australia with her boyfriend. Then there creates all sorts of confusion and comical fares.

Speaking about the performances, Akshay Kumar has again proved his prowess and he ruled throughout. He as usual gets into the skin of the character and enacted his role flawlessly. With every passing day, Katrina Kaif is looking more glamorous. Her pairing with Akki sizzles again and she enacted her part well. Kiron Kher is superb and Om Puri is as usual top-notch. Neha Dhupia played her part well. Ranvir Shorey ruled and Sonu Sood also showed much improvement.

Music by Pritam is ear-soothing; Sanjay Gupta’s cinematography is first-class. Anees Bazmee’s direction is extra-ordinary.

In a nutshell, Singh Is Kinng is a light-hearted film and one need not have to put pressure to analyze its various angle. It is a nice gift for the weekend and you will definitely come out of the theatre with a smile on your face. There will be major collection of the film at the box-office.
